The 2019 IEEE International Conference on Visual Communications and Image Processing (VCIP2019) will be held in the beautiful city of Sydney, Australia, from 1 - 4, Dec. 2019. The VCIP2019 organizing committee invites demonstrations to be presented during the conference.
Demonstration submissions are welcome in any of the areas related to visual communications and image processing identified in the Call for Papers. Some areas may be particularly interesting to the audience, such as image and video coding, including (but not limited to) machine learning based compression and tools for next generation video coding standards, image and video analysis, image and video synthesis and rendering, visual data transmission, and emerging techniques for new media, including Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), point cloud data capture, processing and communication, and visual-based AI applications.
Potential authors are encouraged to submit demonstrations on both practical systems and research prototypes. All submissions will be peer-reviewed to ensure quality. In particular, authors are encouraged to provide, in their proposals, Web links containing videos about the proposed demonstrations. Demonstrators will be provided with space, post er and network access (with special request). Participants will be responsible for providing their own computing, display, network and sensor equipment, and any additional software and hardware that are needed for the demonstration. For more information about VCIP 2019, please visit http://www.vcip2019.org/
Submission Instructions: A 1-2 pages proposal for a live demonstration should be submitted to the “Demonstration” track using the conference submission system.
